Gallmeyer Farms is CLOSED for our 2022 growing season.
As we enter the end of the year, we’re focused on securing our farm and fields for winter, seasonal planting of crops and, of course, planning the 2023 growing season. It is always busy here. Even when it’s cold and bare, there are farm chores that require tending. We’re open to the public six months of the year, but a farm is a 365 day, 24/7 labor of love and dedication. Even when the ground is frozen and still, plants are preparing for spring. Nature is ever awake, ever expecting, ever growing.
Gallmeyer Farms is forever grateful to be able to serve our community by providing fresh produce for purchase from May until October. We’re grateful to serve children by providing a free play area and our grounds for family gatherings and picnics. We’re grateful to pass along our knowledge of growing and farming to children as they participate in field trips.
After a couple of years of confusion and anxiety, we were delighted to see so many of our customers and friends back out in the world. We’re happy to be able to bring a bit of joy to the folks who visit us. It means a lot to us to see the smiles of our customers and trade words of encouragement, friendship and hope.
Happy November dear friends.
May you and yours be blessed this coming season. May you experience the small, precious moments of living.
May you know health, goodwill, love, understanding, patience, tolerance, and peace.
May you find your heart overwhelmed with gratitude, appreciation and thanksgiving.
